The Cullen Family

So maybe I was overracting a bit when I said I didn't like who they chose. Pictures of the Cullen family were posted on Stephenie Meyer's site this morning, and I must admit the actors look the part. Maybe there is hope.
Then again, maybe not. I heard that there was a scene where they actually travel over treetops, which is worrying because that's not something Edward would do. It doesn't seem like the people making the movie pay as much attention to the characters as the fans.
Ah well. I'm sure the movie will turn out great anyway.

One of my toenails feels like it's about to fall off...but at least it doesn't hurt as much as yesterday.
*Flashback to yesterday at dance*

Chantal: Ilona..?
Ilona: Yessss?
Chantal: If your toenail is half blue/black/purple and hurts a lot...
Ilona: Oh, don't worry about that.
Chantal: Really?
Ilona: Yeah. I mean, it's only a matter of time 'till it comes off, right?
Chantal:...I hope you're kidding.
Ilona: I'm not.

So now I'm really grateful I don't have pointe again until monday...though I might want to find some sort of way to tape my toes or something. I mean, I know I already have toe pads and stuff, but maybe there's some sort of toesavers that I haven't heard of yet.
I seriously doubt that, though.

On a lighter note, the Twilight movie is starting to really come together. They announced the names of most of the actors who are playing the Cullens yesterday, and so now it seems like they have half the cast. Personally, I don't think all of the actors they chose match the descriptions in the book...but then again, I'm not the casting director.

Sooooooo...

This is my blog, which I created in my I.T. Tech class at school.



I named it Triple From Fourth because my goal for this year is to be able to do a nice, clean triple pirouette from fourth. I can only do it sometimes, but I want to be able to do it perfectly by June.

It also just sounds cool, and I can't think of a better name at the moment.



As you'll inevitably learn from looking through this blog, I am completely, entirely, 100% obsessed with the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Not in a drooling fangirl way. More like I've read each book about five to eight times and have studied them more than any Shakespeare play I've done in school. The books. Are. AMAZING. The books are about vampires, but not in the way you'd expect. It's currently a series of three books, Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, but the fourth book is coming out on August 2, 2008. It's called Breaking Dawn, and will probably be the last book in the series. I'll be posting news regularly about these books and the upcoming movie, which is starring Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart.

I also dance. A lot. Not enough to be a Super Achiever, but enough to never seem to have any free time. I mostly take ballet, but I prefer stage, jazz, and lyrical classes. They're a lot less strict, and your toes are a lot less likely to start bleeding in a jazz class. Unlike pointe.
